On June 25, 1977, Elvis played to a sellout crowd of over 17,000 at Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum. After the opening acts, fans had to wait 55 minutes before the King himself appeared onstage. He explained his lateness to the crowd: "I had some dental problems, and [sticking his finger into his mouth] I got a filling. So if I go [he winced] you'll know why." |
